The range of courses delivered by the Health and Social Studies Department is extremely diverse, including pre-Nursing courses at QQI level 5, Applied Psychology, Healthcare Assistant and Youth Work amongst many others.
These courses provide the skills and knowledge to work in some extremely rewarding and fulfilling roles in the healthcare and social care sectors. Due to the nature of these courses, many have a significant work placement component, with students spending time in various health care settings, combining learning with practical skills development.
