These courses are designed for people to do for enjoyment in their spare time.

Accredited Courses:
These courses are designed for people to complete an approved course, resulting in a certificate on completion.

Back to Education Initiative (BTEI):
Provides part time further education courses mainly for young adults who have not completed their Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.

QQI Awards | Quality and Qualifications Ireland:

  • Back to Education Initiative ART QQI L4
    (Part time Wednesday and Thursday morning, term September – May)

    This course is designed to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge skills and competencies to engage in a range of art, craft and design practices and/or to progress to other further and higher education training courses.
  • Back to Education Initiative Woodcraft QQI L4
    (Part time Tuesday mornings, term September – May)
    The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill, and competencies to use woodwork tools and equipment safely and to plan, design and carry out basic woodcraft assignments.
